Just saw it!
No spoilers here.
Now I don't want to say it was awesome, because that's a word I only use for big solar flares, medical breakthroughs and the life of Elon Musk, so instead I'll just call it Immensely Jaw Dropping.
The most Jaw Dropping element is how much it's a copy paste of A New Hope. A good half-a-dozen elements are there, including plot twists and whole scenes. It makes the show even more familiar than it being in space and all.
Is there cheese? A bit, let's say about 5% as much as in the Anakin series. Or about as much as you can tolerate on a nice pizza, so it's quite alright.
Okay maybe one little spoiler. More of a disappointment actually. Just to say that the stormtrooper in the bad ass steel armor doesn't have enough screen on time for my tastes. That's all.
